Be sure to look up replacement videos. You will have to destroy the old one to get it out. This one worked great. It was my first time replacing one so I had one hiccup. I didn't seat the connector well enough the first time. Thankfully I was able to apply pressure to the connector with the screen in place. No problems since then! Really appreciated not having to pay someone to do it or buy another laptop as a replacement.

GREAT product at the right price!
My wife's Acer Aspire 5 laptop's screen suddenly had a zillion horizontal lines across the bottom. After checking the connections down to the mother board and to the original screen, I purchased this replacement screen. It was very easy to install and now the laptop is back to it's original great performance. Would strongly recommend this to anyone needing a replacement.
